The Philippine Flag Project — June 12, 2009 This is a social project on three variables: the internet as a medium x nationalism x Philippine design culture. The objective is to have a massive display of nationalism Philippine-style on the net via Facebook this June 12, 2009.
DIRECTIONS: Download a copy of the flag from Wikipedia and use this as your profile picture on your Facebook account this June 12 to 13 so that we cover most of the time zones (well, most importantly, June 12). Make sure to adjust the thumbnail well so it looks ok. Make sure to tell your friends!

It's a good project you've thought of Brian. I hope this will not only be done during independence day celebrations. People from other countries love to wave their flags 365 days a year. I wish our government could have a national flag use law where all Filipinos are encouraged to use stickers,pins, patches, etc. with RP flag.
